How the work gets paid

Your plan quotes the work in milestones. You fund a milestone before work starts, the money is held safely, and you release it when you approve the result. Clients pay exactly the quoted amounts: no markup from us, ever. Freelancers receive the milestone minus the flat 10% fee, disclosed before they accept.

Why pay through Klyftly

Every payment made here is held in escrow until you approve the work, covered by a real dispute process with a person on it, and recorded next to the deliverables it paid for. A payment made outside Klyftly has none of that: no escrow, no disputes, no record, and no responsibility we can take for how it goes. The fee is what keeps the protection real.

What does the $20 actually pay for?
The management of your project: finding and assigning the right people, coordinating the work, checking it end to end, and reporting back to you. It is a service fee, not a deposit on the work itself.
What are credits?
Posting includes a bundle of coordination credits. They cover the platform's work on your project: planning, matching, monitoring, and reports. You can add more at any time, and a project is never abandoned for lack of them.
How do I pay the people doing the work?
Through milestones. You fund each milestone up front, the money is held safely, and it is released only when you approve the work. You pay exactly what was quoted: we add no markup.
When is the 10% freelancer fee charged?
Only when a milestone is released. It is taken from the payout, shown to the freelancer before they accept any work, and never added on top of what the client pays.
Is the free plan really useful on its own?
Yes. You describe your goal and get a full professional plan plus the verified people who would build it. Paying is only needed when you want us to start the work.
